Hey, I'm Kevin Choi

I am a senior Mechatronic Systems Engineering student at Simon Fraser University with a strong passion for Mechanical Engineering. This passion has been nurtured through a combination of rigorous academic coursework and hands-on experiences gained during my Co-op placements.

My journey in this field began with a Mechanical Engineering Co-op role at Zennea Technologies, where I played a significant role in the development of medical wearable devices aimed at treating sleep apnea. This experience allowed me to gain substantial knowledge in testing and manufacturing wearable hardware.

Building on this solid foundation, I advanced to a Hardware Engineering Co-op position at STEMCELL Technologies within the instrumentation department. In this role, I was responsible for designing and building electromechanical fixtures and jigs for the testing, assembly, and inspection processes in the development of laboratory automation instruments. Beyond my professional and academic pursuits, I am an avid enthusiast of biking, golfing, and 3D printing.

Please feel free to take a look at my portfolio to better understand me!
